Novak Djokovic advanced to the quarterfinals of the Serbia Open with a convincing victory over compatriot Laslo Djere on Wednesday(April 22). Djokovic lost the first set in a tame fashion in their first meeting but recovered to win the next two in nail-biting tie-breaks.
Laslo Djere, a 23-year-old Serbian, was an underdog at the Rio Open. He won the tournament and his first ATP Tour title in (2019).
