Best Plant-Forward
Jack & Annie’s Buffalo Jack WingsTargetThe “jack” in Jack & Annie’s “jack wings” comes from the fact that their plant based buffalo wings are made with jackfruit. If you’ve never had jackfruit, it’s a hearty, meaty fruit with a very mild flavor. It’s extremely popular with fancy vegan restaurants and food bloggers. It’s not quite as meaty as something like soy protein, but it’s still a great option for meat-free-but-meat-like meals. These are definitely some of the best vegan buffalo wings we tried and we think you should try them, too! —Jordan Myrick

Most Nostalgic
Morningstar Farms Veggitizers Veggie Buffalo WingsTargetI think Morningstar products are so underrated. I know they aren’t fancy and they certainly don’t replicate real meat like Beyond or Impossible products. But they’ve been around forever! Morningstar Farms was there for me when no one else was. My nine-year-old vegetarian self was able to take a box of Morningstar burgers to a BBQ and feel like everyone else. I still stand by their products. They taste good! They definitely taste like fake meat, but good fake meat. And their Veggitizers veggie buffalo wings are among the best vegetarian buffalo wings on the market. —Jordan Myrick

Runner Up
Gardein Ultimate Plant-Based Buffalo Chick’n WingsTargetOur previous #1, Gardein’s Ultimate Frozen Vegan Buffalo Boneless Wings are still some of the best vegan buffalo wings we tried. When I want wings, I want them to be saucy. These come with a big buffalo sauce packet that you add to the cooked buffalo bites, giving them a sauce-drenched, hand-tossed feel. The sauce is gloriously tangy and a little spicy. You get a lot of wings in a bag, too. These are practically perfect and I definitely think you should buy them. —Jordan Myrick

Best of the Best
Daring Vegan Buffalo WingsAmazonThe entire Sporked team rejoiced when we tried Daring’s vegan buffalo wings. These guys are tangy, hearty, and pack a spicy heat that keeps you coming back for more. But the best part of Daring’s plant based buffalo wings is the satisfying texture. Eating other plant based buffalo wings can be like chewing on mush; these wings pull apart like real white and dark meat chicken. The wings also look more like real chicken wings instead of small buffalo chicken bites. And look, there is definitely a plant-based meat flavor that isn’t going to fool meat eaters, but as a carnivore myself, I found these highly addictive! These are the best vegan buffalo wings you can find right now, hands down. —Ariana Losch
